In this article I offer tips and suggestions as how to photograph a wedding reception and achieve professional looking results. Make sure to get a variety of shots. This may seem like a no brainer but so much goes on at the reception. In addition, a lot planning has gone into making the reception a reality. So plan to record everything from the smallest detail, to an overview of the entire reception.Table centerpieces, guest seating cards, guest favors, the buffet, the cake table, from behind the cake table, showing off the reception room, the guest book table, any other decorations, the entry way to the reception, and various overviews of the entire room. Then of course you have all the possible bride and groom photos: talking, laughing, hugging their guests, showing off the rings, sitting at the head table (try some shots from behind when they lean over to talk to each other or a close up of the bride's hand on her groom's shoulder, etc.), cutting the cake and feeding it
to each other, dancing, garter & bouquet toss, the farewell. As you can see there are lots of important shots. As soon as I'm able, I like to check in with the reception DJ. There are several reasons for this. One, they typically have the time line for the reception. I'll take a look to see if all the important events will be occurring within the couple's package time. If not, I know that I may need to touch base with the bride to see if she wants me to stay longer. In some cases, the DJ can nudge the time line a little if he knows we need to get certain things taken care of by a specified time. Two, the DJ, just like the florist, caterer, or planner is another wedding vendor to connect with. Some of my best referrals come from other wedding vendors - even fellow photographers. Network with these people - they can be gold to your business. It's also a pleasure to return the favor and refer one of your couples to your favorite DJ.I love outdoor wedding receptions - you typical
ly have an abundance of light, more room to move around and the settings tend to be beautiful - country clubs, vineyards, and garden weddings! However, as the light tends to fade, there is potential to run into trouble. Let's go over a few tips to help make your outdoor wedding reception run smoothly. The beginning of the reception typically consists of the bride and groom mingling with their guests, either during a cocktail hour or after they eat. This is a great opportunity for some wonderful images - hugging their guests, showing off the ring, talking and laughing. But you don't want to be too close - it's not a group hug after all. One, the larger the aperture, the more light comes into the lens meaning you can work with less light as it gets darker. Two, the larger the aperture, the less depth of field you have. If you look at a photograph where everything is in focus, the eye tends to bounce around, not knowing where to land. When you look at an image with a short dept
h of field, your subject stands out and the background is slightly out of focus. Your eye immediately goes to the subject. When considering how to photograph a wedding reception, keep in mind these simple yet effective tips. There are so many wonderful moments at a wedding reception. Try to capture as many as you can.

First Wedding Dance Songs- how to choose - Entertainment - Music

The first dance between the bride and the Groom is the most important song at the reception. It is three and half minutes where the two of you looking at each other, holding one another close and smiling. A lot of couples are not super enthusiastic about dancing, let alone in front of family and friends, some couples choose to engage the bridal party, family and friends into the dance as soon as possible. If you choose the path of traditional waltz, just because you aren't going to be waltzing around like professional dancers, the song you choose is still very important not only for everyone watching, but also on an emotional significance for the pair of you. The song could be performed by your wedding band or having it played from a CD. Some things you may wish to keep in mind when choosing your First Dance song

Lyrics- Ensure you listen to them and know what the song is about. The last thing you want is to pick a song with rude words or inappropriate content.

Importance - Does this song have any special meaning to you or is it "just a song". It is always better to have a special connection to your choice because that is what will make it YOUR song.

Compromise- some times, couples have completely opposite tastes in music, the song is one of the few that should be agreed upon happily.

Practice - dance to your song as a couple before the night a few times so you know what to expect.

Choose a song that represents your style. Some couples consider using the same song that their parents danced to at their wedding, or a song that has cultural, family or ethnic significance.

Over the internet there is a vast resource of popular first dance songs or can ask amongst friends, wedding band or DJ the most common first dance songs.

Some couples even prefer to take dance lessons and make a performance on their first dance. Mixing up a few different genres of music that shows their character as a newly married couple. Sometimes the more off-the-wall and funky types of music can make really fun and unexpected First Dance performances; especially when starting with a slower more traditional type of music.

Remember that first dance is possibly one of the most memorable moment at your reception that your family will cherish forever.

For more details you can always check our blog or email our website for more references and specific song titles.

Macy Gray: Soul Singer - Entertainment - Music

Macy Gray, born September 6, 1967, has been famed for her raspy voice, extreme fashion statements and newfound film roles. Generally plated in the R&B genre, several of her peers have noted her as an original artist with a sound far outside the lines.

Macy Gray's beginnings were in her twenties, where she agreed to write a session of songs for a friend. After the friend did not turn up to the scheduled demo session, Gray decided to sing the songs herself. The demo project was followed by many small opportunities in the Los Angeles arena. In 1998 she was signed with Epic records, after they listed to the initial demo tape recorded due to her friend's absence.

In 1999 Gray released the album, On How Life Is, which was welcomed by a worldwide audience with excitement. Her second album, I Try, is the album in which Macy Gray saw as her entry into the successful world of musical artistry. The song, 'I Try', was featured on the romantic-comedy soundtrack of Picture Perfect, featuring actress Jennifer Aniston.

In 2001 Gray won numerous awards for her works, including a Grammy Award for 'Best Female Pop Vocal Performance', for 'I Try'. The song was also nominated for 'Song of the Year', as the album was nominated for 'Album of the Year'.

After much success with 'I Try', the collaboration requested began to line up. To date, Gray has worked with such artists as: Justin Timberlake, The Black Eyed Peas, Natalie Cole, Fergie, Santana, Erykah Badu and Fatboy Slim. Gray was also asked to appear in movies such as, Spiderman, Training Day and Idlewild.

Currently, Gray has appeared on Bravo's Celebrity Poker Showdown playing for Habitat For Humanity. In 2002 she was the voice for Seeiah Owens in the video game SSX Tricky. She also sang the theme song for the cartoon show on Nickelodeon, appeared on the 2008 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, headlined at the 2008 Summer Sundae music festival in Leicester, England, sang the American National Anthem as part of the Israeli flag-raising ceremony, and collaborated with Australian DJ and singer Kaz James. She also worked with Carmit Bachar on songs for her upcoming solo album.

Gray has been a political activist as well, mixing her music with her beliefs. In 2007 she performed at the Brazilian leg of Live Earth at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. Gray and her band members wore politically-motivated messages and on her dress she had the words "Darfur Red Alert" written.

Macy Gray was born Natalie Renee McIntyre and also called Natalie Hinds in her music. To date she has released four studio albums, one compilation album and one live album.

In her personal life, Macy Gray was married to Tracy Hinds for two years, with whom she mothered three children (Aanisah, Tahmel and Cassius). She, politically, also was a supporter of Barak Obama for approximately two years before his presidential campaign. Gray has also been noted for her work with underprivileged teenagers looking to pursue careers in the music industry.

Macy Gray's fifth studio album, "The Sellout", which includes a duet with Bobby Brown, is to be released on June 22, 2010.

Get Your Hands Off the Glass - Entertainment - Humor

I said get your hands off the goddamn glass!

Did that make you cry? Well get over it already.

How many friggin' times do I have to say it? And don't play the whole 'I'm only a 3-year old girl, I don't know any better' card on me. I gave you one warning, that should have sufficed. If you do it again after that I suddenly lose my ability to scoop ice cream for little brats...if you know what I mean.

Needless to say, I'm not having the greatest day. Let me give you a little background information.

I woke up at 5 AM today, as always, and was tired as a "mother-trucker". I use this terminology because I don't want to have my blog censored by some suit-wearing jerk lounging in his swanky metropolitan office somewhere in who the hell knows. Check that...in who the hell CARES.

The water in my shower came out piping hot when I turned it on, and may or may not have burned my right forearm when I tried to check the heat. And the worst part? I had only turned the knob a centimeter or so before it reached the temperature of the devil's satanic grandmother. Who cares if that doesn't make sense, it's my blog and I do what I want! Seriously though, who in the hell makes such sensitive shower knobs? I could tell it was just gonna be one of those days...

Driving into work was a bitch, too. I usually love listening to 103.6 The Hound on weekday mornings but DJ Diggity Fresh Bruce totally brought his C game today. I caught the tail end of a Creed song when I turned it on, which I suffered through in hopes of improvement. But directly after that came Nickelback, which of course forced me to call in to the station and yell at the operator. After 7 F-Bombs, lightly sprinkled with a medley of death threats, he hung up on me, which sent me through the roof!

I tried to calm myself during the commercial break, but found it hard since I had to listen to 3 straight automobile ads talking about crazy sales. I don't give a damn about 0% APR financing! When the station came back on, I calmly said out loud, "Diggity Fresh Bruce, if this song has anything to do post-grunge angsty pop-rock I will absolutely lose it." Sure enough though, Good Charlotte came roaring through my car stereo and I started crying. I accelerated through 2 red lights and flicked off some old man at a bus stop thumbing at me to turn my music down. I had it blaring...that pain needed to be shared.

You'd think getting into the routine of work would settle down the volatility of my day...but you'd be wrong. Charlize (my manager) made me change the sodas in the fountain before we opened, which she knows is my least favorite thing to do in the world. As I was changing out the Wild Cherry Pepsi's I couldn't help but meditate on the irrelevance of my life and the awful choices I must have made that led me to this dump of a job. To think that in 100 years...no probably 100 days, no one would know, let alone care, that I was the sad soul who rang them up every day at their local convenience store...that was depressing. After about 30 seconds of that reasoning I needed a break, so I took off my apron and went on a walk. It was 6: 12 AM.

After a nice stroll in the 'woods', I came back into the store at 1:30 PM. I use quotations around the word woods because that's a little glorification there; it was really just a set of trees outlining the barbed wire fence surrounding some automotive factory a mile or so away from the store. Either way, Charlize was pissed that I had gone AWOL, and it took me about 15 minutes to convince her to let me keep my job. The main reason she did was because I was very proficient at making milkshakes and it takes a hell of a long time to show someone without a GED how to do that.

The shit hit the fan around this time, though. No one prepped me that the local elementary school had early dismissal that day, which gave me zero time to get ready for the herds of little brats that came piling into the store. Of course, they all wanted the most obscure shakes with the most annoying specificities. After the third kid I started critiquing their selections. "Are you kidding me? Superman ice cream milkshake? That is just gross."

"Pineapple milkshake with chocolate milk? God you kids are sick..."

Through it all I had to continuously warn the kids to get their hands off the glass, since it usually smeared the displays and was an obvious health hazard. Most of them were good about it...Suzy Hanes, however, was not. Suzy came in with her older brother Tyler and her mother, Jillian (who for what it's worth is a GRADE A Hoo-Ha)... (And for what it's worth...Hoo-Ha means Be-to-the-E-otch)...(And for what it's worth, that means Bitch).

Suzy is 3, and happened to be in her mother's arms when they came up to order. Seeing the line, I was a bit irritated to begin with when Jill started asking her child what she wanted in baby's terms. Believe me, that got old pretty quickly. After about 30 seconds of questioning followed by blank stares, I was starting to think Suzy had some form of autism. Right when I was about to suggest this she finally answered...by smearing her sausage fingers all over the glass in the vicinity of the vanilla. "Get your hands off the glass Sue," I promptly said. Her mother seemed mortified.

I started working on her shake, departing to another side of the counter. My effort was haphazard at best, considering I wasn't very happy with Sue's behavior thus far. In my eyes, she didn't deserve a well-made treat. When I was finished, I turned around to give the girl her treat, when WHADDAYAKNOW???

Suzy was back at it shoving her hands all over my glass counter. "Hey Sue! Get your hands off the goddamn glass!" I yelled. She quickly looked up and her eyes started to water. Her mouth began to quiver, and I knew what was coming. "Oh you better not!" I shouted, but to no avail. She began sobbing incessantly and her mother turned up the Hoo-Ha level to Max, yelling at me in front of everyone.

I, obviously, took her shake and trashed it, since her behavior was downright offensive. My manager came out and tried to quell the whole situation, making herself a human buffer between me and Jill, who were at that point in each other's grill about what I had said. Charlize began pushing me back into the employee area, but I still had a few words to say, "Hey Sue...HEY SUE! Keep your trap shut or hit the road! I don't need to hear your whiny ass disturbing the peace in my store...Oh can it Jill everyone knows that kid has Auspurgers...Oh how would I know? I took night classes for two months at community college you friggin' Hoo Ha!"

Charlize sat me down in the back after the storm had died down. "What in the hell was that?" She asked.

It was just one of those days.

Batumi: The New Summer Vacation Spot - Travel - Hotels and Lodging

Batumi is one of the livelier cities of Georgia and a popular summer destination due to its ideal climate, scenic beauty and many amenities. It is the capital city of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara in the country of Georgia. Its coastal location and sub-tropical climate make it a popular city for vacationers across the Caucasus, although few western tourists venture in its direction. It's the party capital of the region with a night life to match which increasingly includes big name international DJs on the beach-front clubs. July/ August are the time for Georgian sea lovers to plan their summer vacation and itinerary. Batumi is fast becoming a popular summer destination a wide choice of hotels that offer comfort, and convenience at an affordable price.

People of BatumiBatumi is blessed with natural beauty, character and a unique culture of warm-hearted hospitality. The citizens of Batumi are mainly Georgians along with some Russians, Greeks, Armenians and Ukrainians amongst other. Georgians are known to be highly tolerant of other peoples and religions. A Georgian grows up believing and practicing two facets of life- guests come from God and Friendship rules the roost-as a person's worth is judged not by how much money he or she has in his pocket but how many friends he has. The Georgian society places their Women on the highest pedestal and accords them with great courtliness.

The New Batumi: Batumi, they say, is becoming a showcase of how quickly one of the so-called "frozen conflicts" of the former Soviet Union, which has been fought over in Georgia, can thaw out. Charming old buildings have been restored and attractive new ones are joining them.

Batumi Sights to SeeThe sightseeing at Batumi makes for a real eye tonic to the weary travelers who are otherwise deprived of natural beauty. Keep a couple of days aside to cover many attractions within the city and in the region around it like- Gonio castle, Water dance and Music show at night, A deep Botanical garden, Seaside park and Museums showcasing traditional Georgian art and culture. The travelers go for sightseeing not only in Batumi but Kutaisi as well (Bagrati Cathedral, Gelati Monastery, Motsameta).

A land of opportunity for businessesBatumi officials expect 800,000 tourists this season. Batumi has excellent hotels for conducting important business meetings in tranquil atmosphere that aid in bringing out the best ideas from your delegates. Some of the sparkling new hotels like Hotel EraPalace ()offers the best Georgian Hospitality and is conveniently located in the city centre, 200 meters from the sea, 5km from the airport, 6km from the railway station and just 20 km from the Turkish border. EraPalace is an eight storeyed building that offers ample space with choices in suites, deluxe rooms, double rooms and triple rooms priced in the range of 100 USD per night. A conference hall well equipped with projection camera, conference table among other amenities like restaurant and a cafe-bar.

Getting around the Beautiful BatumiBy the Sea: For getting to Georgia by sea is one of the options. Batumi port is a remarkable port of the country. It is of universal type - receiving and sending all types of sea vessels and serving passengers in high standards. A fast boat conducts regular sailing routes Batumi-Poti-Odessa and Batumi-Khopa-Trabzon (Turkey). Ferry service Batumi-Ilychevsk.

By Plane: Batumi International Airport is located 2km south of the city and Hotel EraPalace is just 5 Kms from the Airport offering the best of cost and convenience. There are many good airlines operating services to/from Batumi International Airport like: Euroline, Sky Georgia, and Turkish Airlines.

By Bus: Buses and minibuses (known as marshutkas in Batumi) operate regularly between Batumi and Tbilisi. Travel time is 6 hours and the minibuses are more comfortable than the local marshrutkas in the city. The scenery along the way travelling by road is breathtaking.Daily buses also operate between Batumi and Trabzon, Turkey, with stops in Rize and the border crossing at Sarpi. Make sure you meet all visa requirements before crossing the border into Georgia. There are two Marshutka stations. One has long distance minibuses to Kutaisi, Tbilisi, Poti, etc. The other, on Tbilisi Square, has marshutkas to Sarpi.

By Train: Georgian Railways operates trains between Batumi and Tbilisi. First class costs 40 GEL, second class costs 23 GEL. In first class, there are two people per cabin, the berths are a little short, narrow and hard but rather comfortable, and linen is provided. Train tickets can be bought at the station or in Batumi at the office on Z. Gamsakhurdia str. Reserve your seats in advance on the weekends, as many Georgians flock to the seaside.

Women travellers who travel alone are advised to travel first class to have a safe journey, although every carriage, including both first and second class, has a watchman/woman, who protects the passengers from drunks, so you can feel safe.

Shopping for the Women Traveller:Batumi is not well known for its shopping amenities. However, many guests appreciate the small shops and street markets that sell fresh produce and an array of handicrafts that are made locally. Also found in local shops are fine wines and antiques. There are many shops where visitors can choose from an assortment of souvenirs, crafts and trinkets. Most shops are open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. The local currency is the Georgian lari.

Traveler Tip: While you may enjoy relaxing at this very nice sea side city, you must not miss this well-kept park behind the beach. The park has a sea facing promenade, where life is buzzing between the trees at its many cafes. Make sure you relish the taste of refreshing Batumi-style Turkish coffee and traditional snacks such as kebabs (mtsvadi) and Acharuli Khachapuri. Acharuli Khachapuri is a recommended Batumi delicacy...an eye-shaped loaf of bread filled with cheese, fried eggs and butter, tastes amazing and leaves you asking for more!

Georgia may not be the place for every traveler but it is definitely a great destination for anyone willing to try something very different and rewarding.

Are Your Big Wedding Plans Going Overboard? Helpful Tips for Tastefully Scaling Back - Shopping - Fashion Style

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

But before you embark on the calm seas of marital bliss, you have to navigate the choppy waters of planning your wedding. There are so many details to finalize and so many decisions to make - from invitations, cakes, and flowers to reception sites, catering, and dresses.

And all of this could shatter your budget if you're not careful.

You want to host a wedding event which will please your guests, but you don't want to run up a massive debt just as you begin your new life with your husband-to-be. So if you think your wedding plans are going overboard, here are a few tips to keep costs down without sacrificing taste.

Shorten the Guest List

This may take some negotiating with your family and spouse's relatives, but keeping the number of guests low is arguably the single best way to reduce your nuptials' bottom line. One option would be to have a small event, then host a larger, more casual (and cheaper) party at your home at a later date and include all of the people you were unable to invite to the wedding.

Email Save-the-Date Notifications

Save-the-date cards are nice, but there are plenty of online services that let you customize similar messages for free. For guests who are not Internet-savvy, you can print out a copy of the notification and mail it to them. Because really - as long as your guests mark you wedding date on their calendars, how they received that information doesn't matter all that much.

Make Instead of Purchase

There are plenty of items that companies will charge you money to make that you can easily create yourself. Escort cards, menu cards, place markers, and even wedding favor packaging can all be fashioned by hand.

Simplify the Floral Arrangements

When choosing the flowers for your wedding, stick to one or two types of flowers instead of ordering a large variety. Also, consider filling out arrangements with greenery instead of more flowers. Both of these tips will help keep floral costs low.

Look for Flowers at Bargain Prices

This doesn't require you to sacrifice quality. If you take the time, you can usually find beautiful flower options at a much lower price than the "trendy" selections. Also, look for flowers that are in season when you have your wedding; those will likely cost less as well.

Explore Photography Options

When comparing prices for wedding photographers, focus on the finished products you will get after the wedding. Don't pay for extras that you don't want or care about. Also, see if a company will agree to send an "associate photographer" at a reduced rate.

Hire a DJ Instead of a Band

Contrary to some beliefs, DJs are not a gauche choice when it comes to music for your reception. Reputable wedding DJs will dress accordingly and play whichever music you want - for a lot less than a live band. They'll even emcee your reception activities if you want them to.

Cut the Cake Costs

Instead of a multi-layer wedding cake, choose a one or two-tiered cake for the reception and then supplement it with a regular sheet cake when it comes time to serve it to your guests. Also, stay away from pricey decorative accents (like sugar flowers and unique borders) and fillings (like guava or mango).

Choose a Buffet Instead of a Full-Course Meal

In addition to a substantial drop in cost, buffets give your guests the chance to select exactly what they want to eat. In addition, guests are more likely to mingle in the buffet line; and they can even go back for seconds if there is food left.

Streamline the Alcohol Choices

In many cases, you can skip the full bar option at your reception; this allows you to minimize costs whether you pay for a flat-rate or by-the-drink setup. Consider offering beer and wine only, or perhaps adding a "signature" cocktail that you (or your guests) prefer. You can also skip the champagne toast if your guests aren't the bubbly-loving type.

Find Off-Peak Deals

Since most weddings are held on Saturdays in the summertime, think about getting married at a different time of year or on a different day (Friday or Sunday ceremonies may save you some serious money). Use this thought process when shopping for wedding-related accoutrements (such as buying pink vases for your May wedding right after Valentine's Day).

Think outside the Box

Use lanterns or other inexpensive decorative items to complement your flower arrangements and decrease your floral bill. Provide one wedding favor per couple or family instead of per guest. Set up larger tables at the reception to save on centerpieces and tablecloths. These little money-saving suggestions will add up when you get the final invoice.

Employing these tasteful money-saving ideas will help soften the blow to your finances while still providing your wedding guests with a fun and memorable experience.

Krista Ranillo: 'Yes, I'm pregnant' - Entertainment

WEDDING bells rang last Sunday, August 8, as actress Krista Ranillo married Island Pacific Supermarket CEO Jefferson (Jeff)

Nio Lim in an intimate ceremony held at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach, California. The couple, who were married in a garden Jewish interfaith ceremony, only invited around 120 close friends and family, successfully avoiding a media circus and opting for a highly private affair.

Ranillo and Lim are childhood sweethearts who reunited when they met again several years later. They have always been private about their relationship, with Ranillo telling BALITA MEDIA in an interview last June only that her boyfriend was a "businessman."

But now that the wedding is over and out in the open, Ranillo is ready to tell her story.

"We met when we were younger, we're more of kababatas," Ranillo tells BALITA MEDIA.

"Our families are good friends. We were able to catch up late last year when I spent a longer time here in the States. He was such a good friend and listener to me. We'd hang out and have dinner, watch movies, nothing romantic really but we were building a friendship."

But of course, what started out as a meaningful friendship became something much more.

"For me, I was just happy being with him - it didn't matter what we did or where we were but being in his very presence made me feel happy already," Ranillo says when asked how she knew Jeff was "the One".

"There were times when I made excuses to my mom so I could come home late (sorry mom!) and spend the whole day with him. I also realized that aside from being a great friend, there were so many qualities in him that I admired. I always tell people that 'nakahanap ako ng katapat ko.' I like that he's smart and very sensible - he provides stability and order in my life and I provide the fun and craziness in his. We really complement each other.

And of course, he's cute so that adds 2,000 pogi points!," Ranillo laughs.

During the ceremony, Ranillo was walked down the aisle by her father, actor Mat Ranillo III, to the traditional tune of Canon D. Her wedding gown was made by David Tupaz, Krista's cousin.

Overall, the wedding last Sunday was a very casual and festive affair, devoid of the formalities that you'd expect in a typical traditional wedding - a reflection of the couple's more modern sensibilities. Perhaps nothing illustrates this more than the couple choosing to wed in a Jewish ceremony, though they are both Catholic.

"We're both Catholic but a couple of days before the wedding, I brought Jeff to the venue and there was a Jewish wedding that was ongoing. We listened to their ceremony and right after we spoke to the Rabbi and scheduled an appointment with him," Ranillo explains.

"We both saw that the Jewish ceremony had meaningful rituals that symbolized the union of husband and wife. We wanted a unique and meaningful ceremony."

In fact, this desire for a "unique" ceremony carried over to the entire wedding, with the couple opting for a much more contemporary celebration than your typical wedding reception.

"We were only planning it [the wedding] for a couple of weeks," Krista shares.

"I wanted the venue to be hip, modern and fun. We wanted a private and intimate wedding so that we could be ourselves."

Guests were treated to such private details as Ranillo's personal wedding playlist, which included romantic tunes like "Love Story" by Taylor Swift, "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain and "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay. Guests enjoyed Mexican and Latin American cuisine prepared by award-winning Executive Chef Jesse Perez of the Hotel Maya, and giveaways included wine bottles emblazoned with "Blame it on the Alcohol" (a reference to Jamie Foxx's hit song of the same title) and candy bars that had M&M's with the couple's picture and names printed on it.

Guests dined outdoors with the Long Beach skyline as their view, and boarded a yacht for the latter part of the evening. They went on a four hour cruise complete with a club-themed setup, dancing to the music of DJ Tommy T (Tom Taus) until the wee hours of the morning. While the dancing took place on the upper deck of the yacht, guests also let loose with videoke on the lower deck. And of course, it was an open bar all night long.

"It was fun!", Ranillo says simply.

"I really enjoyed both our weddings. The first one [a civil ceremony in Norwalk, Connecticut last July 14], it was just the two of us and we ate at a burger place afterwards. It was really intimate. The second wedding was meaningful too because we had our friends and families present."

Although Ranillo is perhaps best known for her role in "Wapakman" opposite boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao, and the subsequent rumors of an affair with the now Sarangani congressman, it would seem that this controversial part of her life is now firmly in the past. In an interview with Philippine Star, Manny himself commented on the wedding, saying, "I wish them well."

"At least wala nang masasabi ang mga tao na kami pa din, na may relasyon kaming dalawa. Pero at least, tapos na 'yon. Hindi na sila magdududa.

Masaya ako para sa kanya. Hindi pa naman kami nag-uusap. Masaya ako kung saan siya masaya

." As for Ranillo, she is firmly looking to the future - she is excited to be married and also eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first child.

Yes, the rumors are true - Ranillo is indeed pregnant.

"I'm in the very early stages of my pregnancy," Ranillo confirms to BALITA MEDIA.

"I just want to clarify that some people are thinking that we got married because I'm expecting. It's not true, we got married July 14 and at that time I was not pregnant yet," Ranillo says.

"I married a good man and I'm looking forward to building a life with him... I'm so excited for things to come."

So what's next for the young couple? Ranillo tells BALITA MEDIA that now that she is based here in the U.S., she is quitting show business.

But she makes it clear that she has no regrets.

"I miss my work but I decided that I wanted something different, a quieter and more peaceful life away from the limelight," Ranillo reflects.

"It was also time for me to settle down. I was at a point of my life where I could say that I was ready."

Chae Yeon - News - Business News

Biography Beginning of careerChae Yeon was born Lee Jin Sook (Korean: ) in Seoul in 1978. It took her many years to attain her current[update] level of fame in Korea's entertainment industry. In fact, she had to start out in Japan first. She was part of a singing group called Brand New Biscuits (?), debuted in Japan on January 1, 2001, when it had 6 members. Brand New Biscuits included also another Korean singer, Yuny Han (Han Tae Yoon). Chae Yeon was also member of group UltraCats (?) under the name of inny (?) or inny Lee (?) from 2001 to 2002.Having passed an audition held by an entertainment management company in Japan, Chae Yeon first appeared on a popular show called chan Nanchan no Urinari! on Japanese NTV. She appeared on the show for almost 3 years. Along with the television show, Chae Yeon (then Jinny) performed as a singer releasing 3 singles and 1 mini-album in Japan. Pursuing career as an entertainer in KoreaShe returned to Korea with her first official album
It My Time under her new stage name, Chae Yeon. Debuting late in 2003, nobody expected her to be successful as she is now. Initially, she was simply viewed as yet another "sexy concept" singer, as many female singers were at that time. However, unlike many others, she had a fairly successful debut. She proved to be a great dancer, and she showed off her vocals in her ballad songs and live performances. Her title song " " (Dangerous Presentation) did well, but her real success came when her 2nd album released late in 2004. "" (Two Of Us) the lead single, pushed her to #1 on many music charts in the spring of 2005.[citation needed] The music video for "" was controversial for being too "racy" in conservative Korea (for it contained scenes showing her full back and exposed underwear). Subsequently, the video was banned on television, and the airing time was limited to after 10:00 p.m. in some cable channels.Becoming heavily played on radio, the song became so popular that a sig
nature "move" from the choreographed dance became known as the "Na-na-na" dance (named after the hook of the song). It managed to hit the top of various music charts in Korea. The follow-up single "" (Come to Me) was released soon after and was also popular, riding on the wave of its predecessor. She returned after a brief break in order to release her third album III, which came in the fall of 2005. The first single, " ", fared poorly on the charts, as it was not a strong dance single, lacking a catchy hook. The record company then quickly switched to the "Disco Mix" of the song, which helped sustain its life on the charts, although not by much. The second single, " " (Third Love), also fared poorly, despite the fact that it had a very sexy video and was a bit more uptempo than the lead single. However, this can be attributed to the fade of sexy R&B music in Korea at the time, as ballads were once again the style of choice for Korean singers; albums by other "sexy concept" s
ingers.Chae Yeon has maintained her popularity by continually participating in variety shows, such as SBS's X-Man (TV series) and Love Letter, where she portrays both cute and sexy images. Her appearances on these variety shows allowed her to display her bubbly and positive personality. She ended her official schedule with her last X-Man episode on September 25, 2005, in order to concentrate on recording her fourth album.Although briefly hospitalised due to exhaustion, she made her comeback at the end of March 2006. Her lead single from her fourth album was "My Love", which was a Latin-tinged dance song. The single was extensively performed, with a remix promoted from May onwards; she then followed up with " " ("Clumsy Love"). The album sold 12,346 copies in 2007, placing 68th for the year. She continued to remain a "sexy" singer, saying that she doesn't mind the label. In addition to promoting her album, Chae Yeon has also joined the cast of Hi-Five, part of KBS's Happy Sund
ay line-up. On the reality-variety show, which also stars Hyun Young, the stars attempt to succeed in various tasks, including starring in a musical, becoming flight attendants, and performing action movie stunts. She remained a part of the show until its cancellation in 2008.Later that year, she drew media attention with her investment into, and direct involvement with, Bequem, a fashion company. She is a spokesperson for the brand, promoting its stylized caps and bags. Moreover, her portfolio with a sexy "Party" concept has hit record sales by elegantly mixing her sexy image with feminine touches.[citation needed]The singer came back after a two-year hiatus from the music world, with her mini-album Shake. Continuing to stay within the "sexy singer" concept, the lead single "Heundeullyeo" ("Shake It") is an electronic dance song. The music video was labelled by major networks to be unfit for broadcast without parental advisory warnings. She has stated that although she felt
awkward and uncomfortable with her sexy image initially, she feels more at ease now, and has stated that she feels sexier the more she relaxes. Coldplay - Viva La Vida - Entertainment - Music

Coldplay- viva la vida

About the track

"Viva la Vida" (Spanish: "Long Live Life") is the second, Grammy-nominated single released from the English alternative rock band Coldplay 2008 album, Viva La Vida. It was initially released only with iTunes Store pre-orders of the album on 7 May 2008, later becoming a download-only single on 25 May 2008. With over 3 million plays, the song earned the number one spot.

The song was used in an advertising campaign for Apple's iPod and iTunes Store while Coldplay performed the song live for the first time at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards. Two versions of the music video were released, one directed by Hype Williams, and the other, an homage to the music video for Depeche Mode's Enjoy The Silence, by Anton Corbijn.

Unlike the typical arrangement of Coldplay songs, in which the piano and/or guitar dominate, "Viva la Vida" mostly consists of a string section playing the song's upbeat riff, along with a steady bass drum beat, bass guitar, and Chris Martin's vocals.About the artist

Coldplay is a British alternative rock band, formed in London, United Kingdom in 1997. The band comprises vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion.

Having released four successful albums, (all of which debuted at #1 on the UK album chart) Coldplay have also achieved great success with their singles, such as Yellow, Speed Of Sound, the Grammy-winning Clocks and the US and UK #1 single Viva La Vida.

Frontman Chris Martin credits 1980s Norwegian pop band a-ha for inspiring him to form his own band.

Coldplay's early material was often compared to that of Jeff Buckley and Radiohead, while also drawing comparisons to U2 and Travis. Since the release of the band's debut album, Parachutes (2000), Coldplay has also drawn influence from other sources, including Echo and the Bunnymen and George Harrison on A Rush Of Blood To The Head (2002) and Johnny Cash and Kraftwerk for X&Y (2005).

Coldplay are one of very few current British music acts to achieve major success in North America. Despite their large worldwide popularity, the band has remained protective of how their music is used in the media, refusing its use for product endorsements. In the past, Coldplay had turned down multi-million dollar contracts from Gatorade, Diet Coke, and Gap, who wanted to use the songs "Yellow", Trouble, and Don't Panic respectively. According to Martin, "We wouldn't be able to live with ourselves if we sold the songs' meanings like that." On the other hand, "Yellow" has been used to back TV trailers for "The Simpsons" and "Viva la Vida" from their latest album features on the current iTunes TV advert.

Since 2002, Coldplay have been active supporters of various social and political causes. They have been visible advocates of Oxfam's Make Trade Fair campaign and Amnesty International. The group has also performed at various charity projects such as Band Aid 20, Live 8, and the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The band has released four albums: Parachutes (2000), A Rush Of Blood To The Head (2002), X&Y (2005), and more recently, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008).

At the Brit Awards 2006, Chris Martin stated that fans would not see them for a long time, suggesting it would be some time before another studio album was released, if at all. However, the previous day on Valentine's Day 2006, during UK Radio DJ Chris Moyles' Breakfast show, Martin had said, "The next album is very good, and I know because it is already written", and rumours were that the band would hire their own 'HQ' studio in the style of Kraftwerk's Kling Klang base to record it, so it would seem there was more to come from Coldplay yet.

Coldplay never intended to become England's favorite rock & roll sons when their signature rock melodies ruled the charts throughout 2000. The quartet yearned to mess around a bit, plucking their own acoustics for fun while attending the University College of London. All had been playing instruments since their early teens and had been influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, The Stone Roses, Neil Young, and My Bloody Valentine.

They never imagined taking reign of the UK's ever-changing rock scene. Each member had come from a solid household of middle-class parents who encouraged music. Martin, the eldest of five siblings, began playing the piano as a young child. He started playing in bands around age 15 and sought solace in the words of Tom Waits. Buckland, on the other hand, was into the heavy guitar work of Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix and was playing guitar by age 11. Scotland native Berryman was into funk instead of indie rock, therefore leaving him to play bass. The multi-instrumentalist Champion had not planned to be a drummer until he joined Coldplay. He favoured playing guitar, bass, and the tin whistle, but caught on to playing percussion when the band became official.

With a beautiful touch screen, shoppers can enjoy fashion advertising photos and video clips (such as four-minute documentary about the Halston, a report on the candy-colored). This is one of the highlights include: "fashion front line" (Front Row Fashion) - where the viewer can watch the fashion show, but also touch the image of each model, fashion trends look best represents the product; "Fair Magazine" ( Shop The Magazine) - Eager shoppers here can be straight into the topic, and then buy.
